Democratic candidate announces bid for Congress
MARQUETTE — A Democratic candidate announced his bid to run for Congress while in Marquette Tuesday. Jerry Cannon will run against incumbent Congressman Dan Benishek in 2014.
Cannon said he is frustrated with Washington and feels now is a great opportunity for him to serve his country, yet again, at a different level.
